The Nintendo subscription allows you to travel to other peoples islands and to have other’s travel to your island. i think all 8 hits gives you 16,100 bells so it's worth it to find it every day. This also works with bell rock, 1 random rock on your island will drop bells instead of mats and each hit increase the amount of bells it drops. remember to set up the holes before hitting the rock. make sure there's nothing in the way, if there are no spots for the drop to occupy then there wont be a drop at all so the 3x3 grid cant have anything in it. the most drops you'll get is 8, the holes will prevent you from being pushed back allowing you to get 8 strikes, otherwise you'd get 6 or 7. turn towards the rock with a shovel, or an axe, and bang away as fast as you can. To get the most out of each rock, look at it like a 3x3 grid with the rock in the center, you stand in any of the 4 corners (as long as there's no beach ledges, inclines, bridges, or flowers next to you) now in dig a hole 2 directions away from the rock outside of the 3x3 (if you stand in the top left corner, the tiles up 1 and left 1, bottom right is down 1 right 1, etc.) it doesnt have to be a hole, it can be anything that blocks your movement. though 1 rock gives bells so 40, i guess. so 8 hits x 6 rocks should be 48 drops a day without going to nook isles. though they can only drop materials once per day, it starts a timer from the moment you first strike it, and the timer is only long enough to get 8 hits in. this way you dont shatter the rock and only get 1 drop from it. Rocks can be hit indefinitely if you dont eat any food so your energy is at 0/10. Rocks will reappear on your island 1 at a time until you have 6. Hoot hoot!
